Creativity and Weirdness

If you are reading this, I'm guessing you were pretty creative growing up.

Maybe you painted, wrote, danced, did drama, music, or crafts. Or something completely different. But you found a way to express yourself artistically and enjoyed doing it.

And then, something might have got in the way. It could have been your studies, a job, or simply that, as you grew up, someone told you those creative expressions were juvenile and unproductive. Or only for "real artists" who could make a living out of it.

While we can't all work as artists, we can all find ways to express ourselves creatively, enjoy the process, and share it with others.

Self-expression is a way of connecting with your identity and with the world. But it's also an act of self-love. When you allow yourself time to create, you validate and encourage your feelings and differences.

And that's weird. Because it’s unique to you.

I'm obsessed with self-expression because it's a powerful reflection of who we are and how we feel. We can't choose our bodies, but we can choose how we express ourselves and show up in the world.

When we add our touch to everyday tasks and routines, we open the possibility to discover new sides of ourselves (plus, we find time to play -something easy to forget!).
