Celebrating 17 Years in Fashion
Seventeen years ago this month, I started to work in fashion. I didn't know it back then, but it was the beginning of a journey filled with many different roles that helped me shape my career and how I understand style, identity and self-expression.
Modelling was my entry point, opening doors to the industry and teaching me something I still believe today: there is so much information in an image. How we present ourselves speaks volumes, often before we even say a word. And through every role I've taken on since, I've learned how fashion isn't just about trends or looking good; it's also a powerful tool for self-discovery.
Over the next few posts, I want to share what I've learned from each job, how every experience fit into the bigger picture, and how all of it led me to the work I do today: helping others unlock their power through style.
Because fashion is so much deeper than clothes.
